Join The Dots

As many of you will know by now, I LOVE quotes. However, some of the quotes that frustrate me a little (sometimes a helluva lot) are some of the ones in relation to looking backwards. You know the ones: "Don't look back, you're not going that way." "Leave the past where it belongs." Don't look back the future is forward" (no shit Sherlock!). "There is no reason to look back when you have so much to look forward to."

I would suggest that looking back allows you to realise just how hard it was and how well you did. To make sense of who you are and what happened to you (Join The Dots). To learn and grow. To evolve not repeat. To appreciate that, whatever point (chapter) in life you are entering...you are starting with experience.
